The Third Judicial Prosecutor’s District includes Jackson, Lawrence, Randolph and Sharp County in Northeast Arkansas. Our office is charged with the prosecution of cases filed in these counties.The laws of the State of Arkansas does not give the prosecutor’s office authority or supervision over law enforcement agency’s procedures, however, the Third Judicial Prosecuting Attorney’s Office works with and makes procedural and investigative recommendations to numerous law enforcement agencies across the district including city, county, state and federal authorities.
We are supported by victim and witness coordinators and administrative professionals handling hundreds of cases each year throughout the district.The Office of the Third Judicial Prosecuting Attorney and it’s representatives works diligently to ensure the delivery of justice to victims of crime and their families. Our office employs non-biased justice for victims regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status or country of origin.
